Just an Old Guy With Hobbies

Hello there, I don't know how you found my virtual home on the Web but you are very welcome. Thank you for your visit. It's a rather modest home with no bells and whistles but those with slower computers and connections may find it more to their liking. Graphic rich sites are great but sometimes they require more patience than many of us older types have. The great beauty of the internet is that there is room for all kinds. In my own surfing of the net I've come across a great many home pages from different parts of the world. Some of them I found interesting and a few I did not. A click of the mouse is the option we have. By the way, my name is Karl Sikola.

If you're still with me, fellow surfer, the heading at the top of the page pretty well sums up what this web site is about.  One of my reasons for this page is my feeling that more seniors should stand up and be counted.  And on the web there's room for all kinds of us.  Personally, I'm something of a hobby nut.  My present adventures with toys and gizmos ranges from old tractors to computers--in fact I started collecting old 'obsolete' computers a year or so ago.  I have always been a hopeless packrat and adding computers considered 'classic' to my collection of junk seemed like the natural thing to do.  Fortunately, I have a large garage and basement.  Links to my other pages are listed below.  I've even included a   'links'   page which is sort of an overview of the sites I like to browse.  {It's also a quick way to dump this old fossil with a click.}  And I welcome anyone who wishes to comment or offer advice.  I can be reached at  ksikola@muskoka.com
