The Muskoka Lakes Museum offers numerous events throughout the season including a Lecture Series, Children's Programming and Special Events.

Monday, May 12 – Heritage Celebration Potluck dinner at the Port Carling Community Centre, starting at 6 pm, with Paul Dodington speaking at 7pm on the history of recorded sound.

Saturday, May 17 - Opening Day Plant Sale 10am to 2pm Featuring native and heritage specimens, with experts on site.

Saturday June 14, 10am to 4pm -- DOORS OPEN MUSKOKA Free, self-guided and guided tours. Site maps available at the museum.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS begin every Wednesday and Thursday

from July 2 - August 21 for 5 -9 yrs. old. Contact the Museum to pre-register.

WALKING TOURS OF PORT CARLING

Every Thursday at 1:30pm in July & August. Cost is $7.50 per person

Saturday, July 19 - Annual General Meeting, followed by a Wine & Cheese reception, (by invitation only)

Tuesday, July 29 - ArtiFact or Fiction, Oviinbyrd Golf Club 4:30 –7 p.m. Delectable hors d’oeuvres and beverages in elegant surroundings. Test your knowledge of Canadiana. Tax receipt for allowable portion.
