Welcome to the Muskoka Lakes Museum

Come join us as we explore the eventful past at the Muskoka Lakes Museum. Representing the history of the Muskoka Lakes Township, the museum is an important cultural, historical and educational resource, serving the community and its many visitors. The area's heritage is presented through permanent and seasonal exhibits and programs, workshops, and special events.

This fall there are a number of intriguing exhibits and programs taking place.

The Catto Gallery has a new show each month, featuring many local artists. A new temporary exhibit is also on each month in the front foyer. Each art show and temporary exhibit will include an opening reception with a speaker this season -- watch our events calendar for details.

Our annual Thanksgiving Celebration Open House is happening on Saturday, Oct. 11^th. Join us for free pumpkin muffins and pioneer demonstrations as we ‘wrap-up’ the season. We are also open Civic Holiday Monday, August 4, 2008.
