Muskoka.com customers are allowed to place their personal WWW pages on-line at no extra cost  to them. However, it is necessary for us to set certain guidelines and policies:

Content

Pages may not contain any materials that we (Muskoka.com) deem inappropriate. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, pornography, hate literature, etc. Pages may not contain any materials that infringe on copyright laws. This includes such things as images scanned without permission, commercial files for download, text quoted without consent, etc.

Disk Space

We currently place 2 megs on the amount of disk space used. We actively monitor disk space usage and may from time to time send an email asking you to re-evaluate your usage.

If you really need to use ten or twenty megabytes, we want to know in advance. We will deal with exceptional requirements on a case-by-case basis, and may require a small disk usage fee.

Personal Directory

Muskoka.com customers may ask to have their page(s) listed on our personal directory at no extra cost to them. This can have a very positive effect on the number of hits to those pages. We do require that the page and the all of the supporting files actually exist on our system (i.e.: No front ends for pages on other services please!).

Your gallery entry may contain a pointer to your page, plus a one or two sentence description of your page.

Multiple Pages

Yes, members may maintain multiple WWW pages under one account. Free pages must be of a personal nature, however they may be linked to a paid commercial page, please enquire for further details.

Ownership

Unlike some other Internet providers, we claim no ownership on your web pages. If you decide at some point to move your pages to another service, we won't stand in your way. The only part you will not be able to take with you are the web gadgets that we have available.

IF YOU WANT TO RESELL WEB SPACE, YOU MAKE IT CLEAR THAT YOU ARE NOT A MUSKOKA.COM REPRESENTATIVE. YOUR CLIENTS ARE BUYING A SERVICE FROM YOU, NOT FROM US. WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ILL-WILL GENERATED BY YOUR SERVICE. MUSKOKA.COM MUST BE MADE AWARE OF THE LOCATION OF SUCH PAGES
