BRACEBRIDGE:

BRACEBRIDGE BAY: 1.5 km trail starting at Bird Mill Mews.


BRACEBRIDGE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CENTRE (S,H): Entrance to the centre is on the east side of Hwy 11.

 

KERR PARK (S,H): Multi-purpose facility with chalet. Off Beaumont Drive.

SOUTH MONCK TRAIL (H):7.5km trail. Moderately difficult. (mountain bikes are permitted) Located on Ball's Drive directly behind the Bracebridge Shopping Centre.

STRAWBERRY POINT LOOKOUT: Take Beaumont Drive to Stephens Bay Road. Turn left, go 1 km to Strawberry Bay Rd. 2 km round trip.

WILSON'S FALLS TRAIL (H):This trail follows the north branch of the Muskoka River with four possible access points.

GRAVENHURST:
CHAMBERLAIN TRAIL: 3 km hike with .5 km side trail to Lookout Point. On Muskoka Road North, 1.7 km north of post office.

DEVIL'S GAP TRAIL: 6 km trail return trip to Devil's Gap rock with optional 8 km extension past lakes and beaver pond. Located 1.7 km along Sniders Bay Road off Highway 169.

THE HAHNE FARM TRAIL 1.5km trail located off Bethune Drive in Gravenhurst just south of Fairview close to the Water Tower. Entry at MOT turnaround. Parking available at Southgate Park.

K.O.A.: 17 km trails.North of Gravenhurst on Highway11, turn right Reay Road.

KAHSHE BARREN TRAIL: 5 km plus, behind Muskoka Tourism Welcome Centre off Highway 11 just north of Severn Bridge.

PETERSEN WETLAND TRAIL: 3 km trail off Highway 11 North on Reay Road. View of large marsh from 800 ft. bridge.

THE PINES WETLAND TRAIL: 4 km trail starts directly across from first entrance to Muskoka Sands Resort on Muskoka Beach Road.

TORRANCE BARRENS (DARK-SKY RESERVE): Hike or ski from 2.5 to 8 kms of trail on 1,990 hectare conservation reserve, Access from Muskoka Road 169; turn west to Southwood Road and follow for 7 kms. Entrance is past second railway crossing and is signed.

HUNTSVILLE:
ARROWHEAD PROVINCIAL PARK (S,H): Groomed & tracked trails. Also skating, tubing hills and tobogganing available.

AVERY PARK TRAIL: Off Muskoka Road 3 near the south entrance to Huntsville.

CAMP TAWINGO: 17kms of established trails. Use of the trails must be pre-arranged with the camp. 

CANN LAKE NATURE TRAIL: Located in Muskoka Pioneer Village. Approx. 1 km.

FAIRY VISTA TRAIL: 3.4 km paved trail off Highway 60 just east of Highway 11.

GRANDVIEW INN NATURE TRAILS: 7km of walking trails.

YONGE STREET TRAIL (H):1.5km trail.

TOWNSHIP OF MUSKOKA LAKES:

HARDY LAKE PARK - new parking lot access of Hwy 169 between Torrance and Bala. 12 km trails including a km loop around Hardy Lake.

HAZLEWOOD ROCK TRAIL - 5 km return trail located in Port Carling. Current access behind Morrow Electric.

HUCKLEBERRY ROCK TRAIL - access off Milford Bay Road just east of the Blue Heron. 3 km marked trail with spectacular views of Muskoka Lake.

RAYMOND TRAIL - 7 km return trail off Highway 141, one km in Skeleton Lake Road 1. Easy to continue walk down to public wharf on Skeleton Lake. Good for bikes, walking, horses, etc. 

SKELETON LAKE FISH HATCHERY PARK: Just off Highway 141 in Ullswater on Fish Hatchery Road, 1 km trail.

TORRANCE BARRENS (DARK SKY RESERVE): (H/S) 2.5 kms of trail. 3 loops for a total of 9 km. Access from Highway 169: turn west on Southwood Road and follow for 7 kms. Entrance is past second railway crossing and is signed.

ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK:
The Hwy #60 corridor has 13 different trails running off it, varying in length from 1 to 11km. Two longer backpacking trails (over 30km each) can also be reached from the corridor. Detailed maps of each trail can be picked u p at the West Gate as you enter the park.

DORSET:
The Leslie Frost Outdoor Education Centre. 27km of forest-management related trails.

PORT SEVERN: SIX MILE LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK:
Just north of Pt. Severn has several kilometres of self-guiding trails. Information is available at the park. A 1.5-km hiking trail circles the north end of the campground and passes through interesting terrain, including some of the marshy area. A guide to the Cambrian Trail describes the special features to look for and identifies some of the park's plant and animal life. The park is gated in winter. Location: Off Highway 400 (formerly Hwy. 69) at Exit 162 close to the southeastern shores of Georgian Bay.

HONEY HARBOUR:
Beausoleil Island on Georgian Bay Island National Park has a 30km trail system. Must be accessed by ferry. Information is available at the office on the island.
