An Evening of Colour and Design with Sharon Grech

Gravenhurst Paint & Wallpaper has teamed up with Muskoka Paint & Decorating in Bracebridge to bring a celebrity to Muskoka.

The Gravenhurst Opera House is pleased to host Sharon Grech, the well-known design and colour manager on Citytv’s CityLine.

“Decorating with Colour – An Evening of Colour & Design with Sharon Grech” will be presented on May 4th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Opera House, 295 Muskoka Road South.

Direct from the Toronto head office of Benjamin Moore, Grech is expected to share tips on decorating with colour, demonstrate some of Benjamin Moore’s latest paint finishes and answers many painting and colour questions.

Grech is a faux finish expert. As such, Grech will share her colour know-how, painting techniques and speak on a variety of colour and design subjects.

Born and raised in Ontario, Grech is a graduate of the four year Honours program, Art and Art History at the University of Toronto. She has previously worked as a freelance faux finisher as well as in a Benjamin Moore retail store.

As a freelance faux finish artist, Grech worked with Benjamin Moore designers on the top-selling book, Paint a Great Impression. Published several years ago, this know-how book has sold more than 250,000 copies. The book documents the makeover of a 50s-style home in suburban Toronto and features more than 30 design and painting projects within the reach of any homeowner.

Grech was also a key member of the Benjamin Moore design team that designed 11 separate room styles in a typical newly-built Canadian home. These designs are available in the colour/design project book Room Recipes – Cooking up Style with Colour.

Tickets are $15 and include a copy of BM Room Recipes book. Reserve your ticket to this great event at Gravenhurst Paint & Wallpaper by calling 705/687-7956 or at Muskoka Paint & Decorating at 705/645-8800.
